Empowering the Next
Generation of Athletes
Cats & Dawgs Kirkland Classic – Celebrity Softball for a Cause
Norris joined fellow athletes for a celebrity softball game supporting the Junior League Softball World Series, celebrating and empowering young female athletes. The event raised awareness for youth sports and promoted gender equity in athletics, giving players the recognition and encouragement they deserve.
Playing Pickleball To Support First-Time Home Buyers
The 2025 AREAA Greater Seattle Pickleball Fundraising Tournament was a day of sports, philanthropy, and community impact, bringing together real estate professionals, local leaders, and pickleball fans to raise funds for the Down Payment Assistance Grant, supporting greater homeownership opportunities in the AANHPI community.
The BEN Basketball Classic: Community, Connection & Giving Back
The BEN (Black Employee Network) Basketball Classic was more than an exhibition game—it was a powerful demonstration of how sports can unite people in service of a greater purpose. Hosted just days before Christmas, the event brought together Amazon employees, local leaders, families, and friends to celebrate both community and compassion. Beyond the excitement of the match-ups, the Classic supported a local nonprofit through a meaningful coat and essentials drive, collecting jackets, socks, hats, gloves, backpacks, and other necessities for those in need. By blending camaraderie on the court with generosity off it, the BEN Basketball Classic showed the true spirit of Seattle—neighbors coming together to care for one another, strengthen community bonds, and ensure everyone feels supported during the holiday season and beyond.
RedVines Anti-Bullying Campaign
Through the Red Vines Embrace Project, Norris traveled to Chicago to connect with a select group of youth from the local Boys & Girls Club, each facing unique personal challenges. This campaign wasn’t just about raising awareness of anti-bullying, it was about building lasting relationships and offering consistent support. Norris committed years to checking in with these young individuals, mentoring them, and making sure they had the encouragement and resources to pursue their goals. The Embrace Project became a symbol of resilience, hope, and the belief that with the right guidance, every child can rise above adversity and step into a brighter future.
