Welcome to Season 2 of Embracing the Journey Podcast! This month, we are welcoming on four special individuals all the way from the American Licorice Company Headquarters in Indiana. We traveled across the country to interview several students that we talked to five years ago. Now, they are grown adults with new stories and perspectives. At 10 years old, Karina Martinez stepped in as a second parent figure in her home to her siblings. She grew up with adult responsibilities from a very young age. Today, Karina realizes it is ok to put herself first, and she should surround herself with people who appreciate her. Every once in a while, we all need this same realization. YOU are important!
